Exceptional outdoor staircase for Henriksdalsberget in Nacka
The old steps between Henriksdalsbacken and Svinderviken in Nacka County have been replaced by a straight staircase made of grating from Weland AB.
The staircase runs at a steep angle, and is separated into 17 segments of 16 steps each. This spacious staircase has an ample width of 2 meters, and its steps and landings are made from grating Type TH6-S. The grating type is fitted with a slip resistant edge and the mesh size is appropriate to not trap snow or dirt. The result is a staircase that is fully functional even during winter time.
To increase accessibility the staircase has also been fitted with baby stroller ramps.
The railing is designed specifically for the staircase, and both the handrail and balusters are made from flat bars with dimensions 50x15 mm. The intermediate balusters are made of 16x16 mm square bars, with a c/c measurement of 116 mm.
To say the customer is satisfied is an understatement, and we are very happy to be of service.
